Newborn & Children - Greg Kingdon Photography

When to book your newborn photography session?

If you are thinking about having newborn photographs taken, you need to book in your due date with me while you are still pregnant, towards the end of your pregnancy (around 35 weeks is ideal) and let me know your estimated due date. That way I can leave some sessions available for you around your due date, and we can book you in as soon as your baby arrives. I conduct newborn shoots Monday – Saturday and only allow one newborn photography session per day, so bookings are essential.

When is the best time to photograph newborn’s?

The best age to photograph a newborn is between 5 and 10 days old. Most newborn babies are quite settled at this age and still have that sleepy newborn look. After this time newborn babies tend to be more alert and can often develop baby acne over their faces.

Where will the session be held?

My newborn shoots take place in your home, to save you the hassle of travelling to a studio, I come to you. I work within a 15 mile radius of Farnborough, GU14.

How long will it take?

Your newborn photography session will take approximately 2 to 3 hours to give plenty of time to settle and feed your baby.

When will I get my pictures?

Around 7-10 days after your newborn photography shoot we'll get together again to view your images and discuss how you'd like to display them on your walls.
